We've launched a ‘vaccine checkmark’ for our Florence professionals.
The checkmark goes on your user profile and appears if you've received at least one vaccination dose for Covid-19.
It looks like this when a care organisation views your profile:
How to get your checkmark
- Get your vaccine card
After you receive your Covid-19 vaccine, you should be given a vaccine card. Keep hold of it.
The card should contain these details:
- Your name
- The vaccine name (Pfizer, Oxford, etc...)
- The vaccine batch number
- Date of vaccination
- Take a photo
Take a photo of the card with your phone.
If you don't have a smartphone, you could use a digital camera, or scan the card with a scanner.
- Send the photo to us
Send the picture of your vaccine card to us at [email protected]
In your email, let us know if this is your first or second vaccine jab.
We'll then add the checkmark to your profile.
How it helps
The checkmark is an industry first for social care, providing transparency at a critical time during the vaccine rollout.
No other agencies or services currently offer similar proof of staff's vaccine status, and the checkmark will help care homes increase safety measures alongside weekly testing and adequate provision of PPE.
How it works
The vaccine checkmark is added to the profiles of Florence nurses and carers who have received their first vaccine dose.
Care homes are able to view the vaccine checkmark on your profile before accepting your shift application.
